How a round robin swap works

A claim is given a value (for this pretend round we are going to say that the value is $25)

Those interested in participating would send a list of items they have to swap and the organizer of the swap would make a determination of their participation (if there is someone posting $100 items for a $25 swap they would be better to wait for another round so it's a good idea to have pre participation criteria).  Each participant would need to be able to post at least 5 items that would be the value of 1 claim, they could post more than that but there would need to be a minimum amount for selection from. 

Criteria would be set as to the number of claims that 1 person could make (I think 2 claims to start is likely the best option but as the popularity of the swap grows we could change this as necessary)

The 'swap mamma' would post her list first.  Then everyone that is approved can look at the list posted and can make a claim, the first one to post their photos with their claim gets the claim.  then the remaining people in the swap can choose from the list that the 2nd poster has made, and this continues in a chain.

The responses that follow from here will give an idea how the entire process works including a full on pretend swap list with claims based on the criteria of the faux swap posted above.

When is the sign up deadline?  Swap is ongoing, members may sign up to participate up until the 25th of January.
What dates will the swap run?  January 11th to January  31st 2008 (swap will have additional rounds)
Is this swap limited to participants in one country? NO
Is everyone allowed to participate? Yes (unless they have negative prior swap feedback)
